I don't know exactly what was happening in the design room when this fabric was created, but I am so glad it happened. It is as if a wholesome checkered picnic blanket and a field of daisies decided to have a baby, and that baby grew up to listen to psychedelic rock.A true 1970s statement piece! This dagger collar shirtwaist dress features a wild "daisies on a picnic blanket" op-art print in black, gold, and white. Fabric feels like slick acetate/satin (not itchy).
Condition: Fair/Good Vintage Condition.
This piece has been mended and loved!
Visible mending/patching at underarms (functional).
Missing center waist button (hook is present). Tip: Move a button from the cuff to the waist!
Makeup mark on collar.
Interior lining has some stress/separation, but is wearable.
