1980's Off the Shoulder, Black Vintage Party Dress with Gold Thread Trim

1980's party dress. Size 10/12 I LOVED wearing this dress! All black with beautiful gold thread embroidery making the dress really stand out. The bodice is in a stretch fabric and is very forgiving, so very easy to wear. The fabric below the waist diagnoal embroidery is different, it has a slightly stiff texture allowing the skirt to stand slightly proud of the longer underskirt and netting with a stiffened hem. Along the bottom of the skirt, going all the way round is the lovely gold thread embroidery. You can see all of this in the photographs. A 1980's style shoulder pad stands proud. There is also an optional "flower" made of the same fabric and gold thread which you can add if you wish. (I removed it at one stage). I'm unsure of the designer as I will have removed any labels. It was however a very expensive dress when purchased. I can see no marks or flaws except for the odd very slight pull of the gold thread. The dress will definitely make you feel very special, even 40 years after being bought! Any questions, please do ask. :-)
